Trash can cleaning
in North Palm Beach, FL.
In the Village of North Palm Beach, we clean garbage cans and blue and yellow recycling bins after the Village’s crews have emptied them, and leave a Bin Health Report on the lid.
North Palm Beach’s schedule and your bins
The Village’s own Solid Waste Division collects residential garbage. Garbage and vegetation go out Monday, Wednesday and Friday by 7:00 a.m. The blue bin is collected Tuesday and the yellow bin Thursday.
The Village asks residents to place recycling bins next to the house where garbage goes, not out in the swale, so less debris blows into the street. It also notes the old schedule magnet is out of date.
Three garbage days a week gives us flexibility. We pick one that fits our route, right after pickup, and clean the recycling bins on the same visit.
Collection rules change. Check your city or hauler for current days.
What every visit includes
- Flush and degrease the residue
- Hot rinse capped at 128°F, with a recorded reading
- Enzyme cleaner treatment
- Bin Health Report left on your lid
First visit deep clean: $79 for 2 cans (half off with a year of weekly or monthly service, quarter prepaid)
Weekly: $25 · Monthly: $29 · Every 2 months: $35 · Quarterly: $45 per visit, 2 cans included, +$15 each extra
Rinsed recyclables, sticky bins
The Village asks residents to rinse plastic, glass and aluminum containers before recycling them. Even rinsed containers leave drips of soda, juice and milk in the blue bin. Over a warm month that turns into the sticky film that draws ants. We clean recycling bins the same way we clean the garbage can.
