Trash can cleaning
in West Palm Beach, FL.

West Palm Beach is our home base. We clean garbage carts and recycling bins at the curb after the city’s truck has emptied them, then leave a Bin Health Report on the lid.

YOUR WEST PALM BEACH PICKUP

How West Palm Beach collection works with bin cleaning

The City of West Palm Beach assigns each garbage cart to one address and gives it a serial number, so the cart stays with the house when you move. If a cart breaks, the city says it will try to repair it and replace it at no cost if it can’t. Call Customer Service at (561) 822-2075 or submit a service request.

Recycling bins for city residents come from the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) at no charge. The city asks residents to put the cart out no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before collection, with the front facing the street.

The city’s own tip is to rinse the can out periodically and let it dry completely. That’s the job we take off your list: a degreaser, a hot rinse capped at 128°F and an enzyme cleaner, done at your curb.

Collection rules change. Check your city or hauler for current days.

Why a West Palm cart smells even in winter

USDA food-safety guidance puts the bacteria “Danger Zone” at 40–140°F. West Palm Beach’s normal daily high is 76.5°F even in December and about 90°F in July and August (1991–2020 normals). Leftover residue at the bottom of a cart sits in that range for most of the year.
