Trash can cleaning
in Palm Beach, FL.

On the island, we clean garbage containers and recycling bins for Town of Palm Beach homes after collection, and leave a Bin Health Report on the lid. Estates and gated properties: tell us where the cans are kept.

YOUR PALM BEACH PICKUP

Town of Palm Beach collection, and where we fit

The Town’s Public Works sanitation crews collect garbage and recycling. Single-family homes get five days of service, Monday through Friday: four days of garbage and one day of recycling.

The Town requires all garbage to be inside the container, and containers must be watertight and no larger than 50 gallons. Questions about your schedule go to Public Works at (561) 838-5440.

With garbage picked up four days a week, your cans are emptied often, but they aren’t washed. We schedule a visit right after a collection and work with your staff or property manager on access.

Collection rules change. Check your city or hauler for current days.

Watertight cans keep liquid in

A watertight can doesn’t leak onto your driveway, which is the point. It also means juices and rinse water pool at the bottom, where USDA’s 40–140°F Danger Zone applies most days of the year. We degrease, hot rinse and drain the can so nothing is left sitting there.
